Dear colleagues and friends,

I have noticed that a lot of people are re-visiting my linkedin personal page to read my achievement that i have listed in my profile. As there is a character limitation in Linkedin on how many letters you can write i have decided to make this blog post to give a broader idea of my actions as a Hotel Group eCommerca Manager.

Achievements - Fulfilled Tasks – Responsibilities – Actions Taken
as a Hotel Group eCommerce Manager of Kipriotis Hotels
April 2014 –

Responsible for the entire online channel of 5 hotels (1.500 rooms in total) and the biggest convection center in Greece
eDistribution
-Creation of reservations manual for on-line bookings (Hotelbeds,Booking.com, Expedia,Hrs,Orbitz etc)
-Train the reservations associates & managers on how to deal with everyday tasks & issues concerning the online channel
-Researching, Negotiating, Testing & Installing the best (value for money) Channel Manager (Rate Tiger)
-Rename and create new room types (e.g Prestige Suite)
-Content optimization on all OLTAs (Booking.com,Expedia,Agoda,Orbtiz,HRS,Wotif etc)
-Contacting more than 30 OLTAS to set up cooperation (connection through rate tiger)
-Contacting & Setting up cooperation with several Online Tour Operators (GTA, Adonis, Tourico, DOTW, Metglobal etc).
-Reviewed Kipriotis hotel group booking engine (webhotelier) and completely modified it for better conversion
-Creation of new on-line rate plans (special offers, BAR rates, early bookings, Privilege package, etc)
-Creation of new cancellation policies
-Analysis of competition
-Taking actions to protect rate parity and exclusivities
-Monthly analysis of Online Revenues and suggestions on how to enhance the performance
-Increase of Online Revenues more than 104% (data undisclosed)

eMarketing
-Full review of kipriotis.gr & kipriotishotel.gr websites. Suggest major improvements
-Instruct web development agency to implement major improvement in the content (add video section, add email subscribe now tab, add google maps information, restructure the presence of room types etc)
-Full review of Kipriotis Hotels social media accounts. Implemented new Social Media strategy.
-Reviewing weekly social media calendar, giving clear instructions to the social media coordinator how to respond, engage, up sell, increase the number of fans
-Creation of hotel videos for each and every property
-Setting up Instagram account & do major improvements in all social media accounts (Twitter,Youtube, Foursquare,Pinterest,Flickr,Google+,VK etc)
-Setting up Email marketing campaigns per month through Mailchimp (I made the email marketing process in house)
-Reviewed the yearly Tour Operator marketing plan (for all properties)
-Create for up selling reasons leaflets that have been positioned in front offices
-Negotiated and set up major advertising campaigns through several sites (greekomania.ru, tophotels etc)

Online Reputation Management
-Negotiating & installing the best value for money an online reputation management software (Revinate) for 5 properties
-Researching, Negotiating, Testing the installation of PostStay & InHouse surveys (connection with pms and mobile app). Companies that have been contacted (Revinate,TrustYou,eSurvey, ReviewPro)
-Creation of online reputation management manual for 5 hotels (for Tripadvisor, HolidayCheck,Zoover)
-Negotiated and purchased business listing for 2 Kiprioties properties (Kipriotis Panorama Hotel&Suites and Kipriotis Village Resort)
-Creation of "pool answers" to be used for the responses on online review sites (given to hotel managers)
-Monthly online reputation management presentation to the owners & hotel managers
-Creation of Online Reputation Management action plan for 2015
-Creation of Online Reputation manual to be distributed to frontline employees for 2015 (simplified one to be easy understandable)

Other Activities:
-Researching, Testing the and Installing an online check-in software on www.kipriotis.gr
-Creation of Online Check-In Manual/Guide for FOMs,GMs and Reservation department
-Analyzed and researched the questions of post stay surveys with the Quality manager (I got in contact with hotelier friends around the globe to discuss the best questions tha they are sending through post stay surveys)
-Researched and negotiated with 14 web development agencies (local and international) the creation of new website for Kipriotis Hotel Group
-Prepared the yearly (2015 year) eCommerce budget
